ordering & Shipping
when can I expect my order?
Item(s) ship within seven days of an order being placed, in addition to the time it takes for the USPS to deliver the order to you.
A confirmation email will be sent to you once the order has shipped.
do you offer gift wrapping?
I do not offer 'gift wrapping,' per se, however all orders are wrapped with a hand-dyed ribbon and include a few additional touches. So whether a piece is for yourself or a gift for another, the jewelry is nicely packaged and ready for giving/receiving.
I really like a ring on your site, but it isn't my size. can you resize it?
At this time I do not offer resizing on rings. However, if you do have questions about resizing a ring, please do reach out before purchasing and we can explore ways to get you what you're looking for!
Additionally, I recommend that you know the ring size(s) you are shopping for before making a purchase. For sizing ahead of time, I recommend using the ~$4 ring sizer found here.
I <3 the earth. What's your packaging like?
Depending on the piece of jewelry, items are either placed in a kraft paper box or cloth bag. Cotton, hand-dyed ribbons adorn each box.
All shipping materials (mailers and corrugated cardboard padding) are sourced from EcoEnclose, who specialize in recycled packaging materials.
Additionally, I encourage you to make the most of the packaging materials you receive. Reuse the box or cloth bag, reuse the mailer, or recycle the corrugated cardboard!

cancellations
I accept order cancellations within 24 hours of an order being placed.
returns
Within three days of receiving an order, please email earthboundsilver@gmail.com if you wish to initiate a return.
Returns must be shipped back within seven days from delivery date. The item must be returned in its original packaging and state, free from scratches/breaks/etc.
The customer covers the cost of shipping for a returned item and must provide Earthbound Silver with a tracking number.
Earthbound Silver does not accept returns that are the result of buyer's remorse or incorrect sizing.
refunds
Once the returned item is recieved, the refund for the cost of the piece will be issued (not including cost of original shipping), granted the condition of the piece is not deemed compromised by Earthbound Silver.

a note on handcrafted jewelry
Please make note of any recorded imperfections on the piece before purchasing. Also be sure to know your size and compare that to the item you like before purchasing. Naturally, there are imperfections in handcrafted jewelry and that should not be cause for return.

Additionally, please contact me directly with any issue you may have with a received item. I put a lot of time and soul into each piece and strive for you to feel the same joy wearing it as I do crafting it. I aim for 100% positive feedback, so in the case of concern I will be available to work things out in the best way possible.
a note on gemstone colors
I do my best to capture the true essence of gemstones and their color(s) with the product photography I take. I use natural filtered light and do not implement photo filters. Please note that the color of a gemstone may appear to you differently depending on your screen brightness or whether a piece is seen in indoor vs. outdoor light.
If you have questions about gemstone color, please message me and I will be happy to provide alternative media for you to get a closer look at a stone. Please note that color discrepancy is not accepted as a reason for return.

How to care for your jewelry
Some pieces of Earthbound Silver jewelry mimic the finer things and others are meant for everyday ventures. Despite this difference, please note that some components on your piece may be delicate and should be worn with care (or removed!) while adventuring for sustained life.
If your piece has a patina finish (used to darken the shadows), be weary of using harsh metal cleaners. Tarnish occurs naturally over time and any polishing method may remove this finish. However, the best way to polish your piece would be gently, with a polishing cloth (note that polishing cloth can still remove patina finish).
