Moss Agate New Growth Stud Earrings

Elegant and subtly beautiful, these triangular moss agate stones are set below a half circle stud component. Moss agate does not contain biological moss, however the green wisps of moss-like filaments are actually deposits of metal like manganese or iron. It's like looking through a tiny world of mossy forest understory in the translucent stone!

But wait, there's more! The backside of these earrings have hand-sawn roots and cotyledon/leaves of a new growth plant. When these stones are held up against the light, they reveal this design through the stones.

As with all items I create, this piece is handcrafted and hand finished from beginning to end. This means that there are going to be slight imperfections.
